Had this out for a party and it was the star of the show!

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the ground sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
  3. Combine the cooked sausage, Pepper Jack cheese, green onions, red bell pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
  4. Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture into the center.
  5. Brush the edges of the wrapper with beaten egg. Bring the corners together and seal tightly, forming a pouch.
  6. Place the wrapped wontons on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let the wontons cool slightly before serving.
